Inspiration

What’s our inspiration? It’s you. Seriously.

Our goal is to capture the unique style displayed here in Northern Michigan. Some of that consists of landscapes, food, & events, but what really excites us are the amazing people living right here in our quaint little town. We’re out almost daily with our cameras trying to track down those with a unique individuality that’s displayed in how they act, dress, and live.

Although, there are more aspects to our story; the idea to capture the style of Northern Michigan took root after we became fans of The Sartorialist. Hopefully, you’re familiar with his blog, but if not, take a moment to watch this brief documentary.

Schuman travels the world with his camera, but what do NYC, Milan, or Paris have on us?  It’s our opinion that there’s no need for us to leave Northern Michigan. There’s plenty of swag right here, just get out there and let us snag a photo! We also hope you’ll share your thoughts with us in the comments, we’d love to hear what you have to say.
