Frog Catching and Esch Beach: A Photo Montage

Although the people had cleared out during a late evening trip to Esch Beach, we did find we had company: frogs. They are tricky to catch, and faster than they look!  But definitely not as elusive as the minnows that also enjoy the shallow waters of Otter Creek as it empties into the big lake. This particular nature outing ended in a special celestial show; a crescent moon setting a little after eleven p.m. over the waters of Lake Michigan. I’d say it’s a pretty good summer evening combo…frog catching, sunset ooh-ing, and moonset aah-ing. Wouldn’t you?
