Two Perspectives: Van’s Beach – Leland, Michigan
Today’s photos pose two perspectives from two of our contributors (Nate and Kim) of the ice formations along the Lake Michigan shore at Van’s Beach in Leland. We would love to hear which one resonates with you.

I like both your perspectives—but that second one, up close—wow. I can’t wait to go down there tomorrow and have a look around. The winter beach is so full of mystery.
We’ve had some really beautiful winter photos submitted to the Why Leelanau blog at the Conservancy recently. Some of the ice shots are my favorites (here is one: http://leelanauconservancy.org/whyleelanau/ice-all-aglow/).

Thanks Zane. I’m curious to see how it looks. It seems the ice would change a lot from one week to the next. And thanks for sharing the photo from the Conservancy, it’s gorgeous.
